excel V and Laser Genesis can be used together in a complementary fashion, or individually. Dr. Shukla can advise you on what will be best for you based on your individual skin, desired results, and treatment preferences. Both therapies are quick and non-invasive, taking only about 15 to 30 minutes each. The lasers are equipped with built-in cooling mechanisms so that you will be safe and comfortable without the need for anesthesia. In fact, many patients say that the sensation is pleasant and soothing.
When you arrive for your procedure, one of our skilled practitioners will thoroughly cleanse your skin and then apply the laser device to your skin in the desired treatment area. After your treatment, you can resume your normal daily activities with zero downtime. Some patients experience temporary redness or swelling in the treatment area, but it typically dissipates quickly.
Patients who undergo excel V treatment may only need one treatment to achieve their desired results but depending on what you are treating and the severity of the issue, more treatment sessions may be necessary. With Laser Genesis, most patients do need to receive multiple treatments spaced about four weeks apart to achieve the best results. The anti-aging effects of Laser Genesis get better over time, with the optimal results occurring at around six months after your last treatment.
