Rahul Shukla MD, FRCPC, DABD, ABOM
Dr. Rahul Shukla is a Board-certified dermatologist both in Canada and in the United States and a board certified specialist in Obesity Medicine. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor (adjunct), for the Department of Medicine at McMaster University and an active member of many professional associations such as the Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA), American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) and the Canadian Laser & Aesthetics Specialists Society (CLASS).
Currently, he serves as President of CLASS.

He has served as a reviewer for the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology of Venereology, published several peer-reviewed manuscripts and has had abstracts presented on a national as well as international level.
Currently, Dr. Shukla serves as the lead dermatologist at drs skincare in Hamilton. He is experienced in a variety of aspects of dermatology including medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Shukla also enjoys teaching and frequently teaches residents and medical students.
Outside the office Dr. Shukla thoroughly enjoys sports, spending time in nature (especially hiking) and spending time with family, friends and his dog Nala.
Dr. Eva Kovacs
Dr Kovacs is a rheumatologist who is excited to return to Hamilton after completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, followed by her fellowship in Rheumatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Since returning to Canada, she has been working as a community rheumatologist, who sees all aspects of rheumatology. Her interests lie with inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies like psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, connective tissue diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, and crystal induced arthropathies. She is passionate about providing the highest quality care and welcomes new patients.
When she is not working in the office, she enjoys her time with her 2 kids and husband, going on outdoor adventures, traveling, and seeing family and friends.

Dr. Jennifer Chuback
Dr. Jennifer Chuback is a Plastic Surgeon who is excited to join the drs skincare team. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biochemistry at the University of Winnipeg Dr. Chuback completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Manitoba. During medical school she also engaged in research to accomplish a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicine. She then completed an additional five years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Chuback is committed to research and the advancement of evidence-based innovations in plastic surgery. Her research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed clinical journals and she has presented her findings at meetings nationally and internationally. She believes strongly in incorporating the latest scientifically proven therapies into the care of her patients.
At drs skincare, Dr. Chuback works closely with Dr. Shukla to provide comprehensive care for patients with skin cancer in a convenient setting.
In addition, Dr. Chuback brings her expertise as a Plastic Surgeon to collaborate with our cosmetic skin care team. Dr. Chuback uses office-based procedures including removal of benign skin lesions, and cosmetic injectables (such as wrinkle relaxers and fillers) to help you achieve your goals with minimal downtime or discomfort.

Stephanie – Consultant and Medical Aesthetician
drs skincare patients have benefited from Stephanie’s expertise in areas like cosmetic injections, laser skin rejuvenation, and hair removal for more than 8 years. A 15-year industry veteran, Stephanie is drs skincare’s Lead Consultant and Medical aesthetician. She is experienced with a wide range of aesthetic technologies, products, and therapies. While her knowledge and skill may seem like second nature, Stephanie didn’t always gravitate to the dermatology field; she used to be a professional dancer!
Outside of the office, the Sheridan College graduate enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her husband and 2 kids.
Stephanie is a 5x Reader’s Choice Winner for best Medical Aesthetician.
Kristina - Consultant & Medical Aesthetician
Kristina is a Readers Choice Award winner and has been in the aesthetics industry for 20 years. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and will make you feel very comfortable while having any treatments done. She has undergone extensive training for not only treatments but is also an expert in skincare.
Kristina has a passion for helping others achieve their best skin and feel good about themselves. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and loves to travel.
Sabrina – Administrative Assistant / Clinic Operations Lead
As administrative assistant, Sabrina adds to the pleasant experience and team atmosphere that patients have come to expect from drs skincare.
A self-described “huge animal lover,” Sabrina loves staying active outside of the office while hiking.
Rachel – Medical Administrator
Rachel joins our team with 14 years of service as a medical office administrator. Her passion is ensuring her patients get everything they need in the time she spends with them. Her goal is to provide each patient with a positive and bright dental experience.
During Rachel's free time, you can find her practicing American sign language, playing with her plants, and gardening. She loves the outdoors, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.Chloe – Medical Administrative Assistant
Chloé is a medical administrative assistant whose vibrant personality has been a part of our welcoming atmosphere for 5 years now. Chloé brings to her job the expertise of her training in Medical Office Administration from Mohawk College and 7 years of work experience. She had grown up with a passion for her job as her work experience goes back to high school when she worked at the family practice. Chloé now brings that same warm family practice atmosphere to drs skincare as she communicates with patients and performs the administrative tasks that keep the office ticking. When she is not at the office, you might find Chloé staying active at the gym or spending time with friends and family.
Lavina – Registered Practical Nurse & Cosmetic Injector
Lavina graduated from Mohawk College as a personal support worker before completing Mohawk’s Registered Practical Nurse program in 2015. She decided to pursue a career in nursing, having previously worked at a medicine unit. “Later, I realized that I have a passion for dermatology and wanted to specialize in it,” Lavina says. Fulfilling this goal, she joined Drs Skincare in 2016. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and was trained by Dr Shukla in procedural dermatology including neuromodulator injections (botox, dysport, xeomin) for both medical and cosmetic applications. She also has supplementary training from Allergan as a Certified Botox Injector in 2018.
Originally from Vancouver, Lavina loves traveling, yoga and spending time with family and friends during her spare time.
Iris - Registered Practical Nurse & Cosmetic Injector
Iris is our clinic nurse and graduated in 2016 from Bow Valley College in Alberta and has been working here at our clinic since late 2021. She loves both the medical and cosmetic side of dermatology. Iris is a cosmetic injector for neurotoxin and has been trained by Dr Shukla to apply neuromodulators (botox, dysport, xeomin) for both medical and cosmetic applications. She has supplementary training from Allergan, Merz, and Galderma. Other than the clinic, you can find Iris at the gym.
Nadean - Social Media Coordinator and Cosmetic Administrator
Nadean is new to the Dermatology industry and has been working at drs for almost a year now. She is our social media coordinator and cosmetic administrator. In her free time, Nadean enjoys catching up with friends, traveling, painting, and going to the gym.
Katie - Consultant And Medical Aesthetician
Katie graduated from St. Clair College Advanced Medical Aesthetics Practitioner program in Windsor at the beginning of 2020. She has been in the aesthetics industry for 5 years. She started working at drs skincare in the summer of 2023. She is very experienced and knowledgeable in medical aesthetics and has a passion for skincare and educating people to help better their skin health.
New to Hamilton, Katie enjoys going on hikes in her free time and reading. As well as doing yoga and spending time with friends and family.
Deanna - Registered Practical Nurse
Deanna graduated from the Practical Nursing program at Mohawk College in 2021 and joined the drs skincare team in 2023. She spent some time in a busy medicine unit at a hospital before finding her passion in dermatology. Her favourite aspects in dermatology are helping people reach their skin goals and spotting suspicious skin cancers.
In her free time, Deanna loves cooking, the Toronto Blue Jays, and spending time with friends and family.
Nicole - Registered Practical Nurse
Nicole comes to us with many years of nursing experience. She graduated from Mohawk College's Practical Nursing program in 2012. She has worked in various nursing settings throughout the years. Here at drs skincare, she specializes in Biologic therapy for our patients.
In her free time, you can find Nicole riding her motorcycle on scenic roads, spending time with her family and friends, or cuddling with her dog, Millie. She's always on the move and ready for the next adventure.
