What Medications Are Not Compatible with Hyaluronidase?

How Soon Can I Get Hyaluronidase If I Don’t Like My Filler?
If your concern is cosmetic rather than a post-injection health issue, it’s generally best to wait at least 24 hours and up to two weeks before booking hyaluronidase treatment. This gives the filler time to settle fully and the initial swelling to subside, ensuring you’re seeing the actual result before deciding to dissolve it.
When Can I Get a New Filler After Receiving Hyaluronidase?
Timing matters here, too. We recommend waiting approximately two weeks after your hyaluronidase injections before introducing new filler. This allows the enzyme to fully clear the treatment area, giving you a clean foundation for your next injection and preventing the new filler from breaking down prematurely.
How Should I Prepare for My Hyaluronidase Appointment?
A few simple steps will help your treatment go smoothly and reduce the risk of side effects:
- Skip alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand — it increases the risk of swelling and bleeding.
- Stay hydrated — drinking plenty of water supports healing, minimises complications, and helps the enzyme work more effectively.
- Avoid caffeine and salty foods in the days leading up to your appointment, as both can worsen swelling and bruising.
- Plan your timing — schedule your appointment well before any major events, since temporary redness and swelling are common in the days following treatment.
