Dr. Eva Kovacs – Rheumatologist

Dr Kovacs is a rheumatologist who is excited to return to Hamilton after completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, followed by her fellowship in Rheumatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Since returning to Canada, she has been working as a community rheumatologist, who sees all aspects of rheumatology. Her interests lie with inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies like psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, connective tissue diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, and crystal induced arthropathies. She is passionate about providing the highest quality care and welcomes new patients.

When she is not working in the office, she enjoys her time with her 2 kids and husband, going on outdoor adventures, traveling, and seeing family and friends.

Dr. Jennifer Chuback – Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Jennifer Chuback is a Plastic Surgeon who is excited to join the DRS Skincare team. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biochemistry at the University of Winnipeg Dr. Chuback completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Manitoba. During medical school she also engaged in research to accomplish a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicine. She then completed an additional five years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Chuback is committed to research and the advancement of evidence-based innovations in plastic surgery. Her research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed clinical journals and she has presented her findings at meetings nationally and internationally. She believes strongly in incorporating the latest scientifically proven therapies into the care of her patients.

At DRS Skincare, Dr. Chuback works closely with Dr. Shukla to provide comprehensive care for patients with skin cancer in a convenient setting.

In addition, Dr. Chuback brings her expertise as a Plastic Surgeon to collaborate with our cosmetic skin care team. Dr. Chuback uses office-based procedures including removal of benign skin lesions, and cosmetic injectables (such as wrinkle relaxers and fillers) to help you achieve your goals with minimal downtime or discomfort.

Stephanie – Medical Aesthetician

DRS Skincare patients have benefited from Stephanie’s expertise in areas like laser skin rejuvenation and hair removal for more than 10 years. An industry veteran, Stephanie is DRS Skincare’s Lead Medical aesthetician and is experienced with a wide range of aesthetic technologies, products, and therapies. While her knowledge and skill may seem like second nature, Stephanie didn’t always gravitate to the dermatology field; she used to be a professional dancer!

Outside of the office, the Sheridan College graduate enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her husband and 2 kids.

Kristina – Medical Aesthetician

Kristina is a Readers Choice Award winner and has been in the aesthetics industry for 20 years. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and will make you feel very comfortable while having any treatments done. She has undergone extensive training for not only treatments but is also an expert in skincare.

Kristina has a passion for helping others achieve their best skin and feel good about themselves. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and loves to travel.

Sabrina – Clinic Operations Lead

Sabrina plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the clinic runs efficiently and smoothly. A self-described “huge animal lover,” Sabrina loves staying active outside of the office while hiking.

Iris – Registered Practical Nurse & Cosmetic Injector

Iris is our clinic nurse and graduated in 2016 from Bow Valley College in Alberta and has been working here at our clinic since late 2021. She loves both the medical and cosmetic side of dermatology. Iris is a cosmetic injector for neurotoxin and has been trained by Dr Shukla to apply neuromodulators (botox, dysport, xeomin) for both medical and cosmetic applications. She has supplementary training from Allergan, Merz, and Galderma. Other than the clinic, you can find Iris at the gym.

Nadean – Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Nadean has been working at drs since the spring of 2022. She graduated from the business administration – marketing program at Mohawk College. In her free time, Nadean enjoys catching up with friends, traveling, painting, and going to the gym

Katie – Medical Aesthetician

Katie graduated from St. Clair College Advanced Medical Aesthetics Practitioner program in Windsor at the beginning of 2020. She started working at DRS Skincare in the summer of 2023. She is very experienced and knowledgeable in medical aesthetics and has a passion for skincare and educating people to help better their skin health

Deanna – Registered Practical Nurse & Cosmetic Injector

Deanna graduated from the Practical Nursing program at Mohawk College in 2021 and joined the DRS Skincare team in 2023. She spent some time in a busy medicine unit at the hospital before finding her passion in dermatology. Her favourite things about dermatology are helping people reach their skin goals and spotting a suspicious skin cancer.

Deanna is a cosmetic injector for neurotoxin and has been trained by Dr Shukla to apply neuromodulators (botox, dysport, xeomin) for both medical and cosmetic applications. She has supplementary training from Allergan and Merz.

McKayla – Medical Administrative Assistant

Mckayla has over 9 years of experience in the healthcare field, beginning her career as a phlebotomist. Currently serving as our medical administrator, she has always been passionate about helping others and knew from the start that she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. Her goal is to complete her nursing degree in the near future. In her spare time, Mckayla enjoys beading, sewing, and spending quality time with her daughter and husband.

Sandra – Medical Assistant

Since graduating from Mohawk College’s Administration program in 2019, Sandra has gained valuable experience working in a dermatology clinic and the plastic surgery unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Her passion for skincare naturally brought her back to dermatology, where she is now a proud member of the DRS Skincare team. Outside of work, Sandra enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Amelia – Cosmetic Administrative Assistant

Amelia is a graduate of the Medi Spa program at the International Beauty Institute. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, Theo, as well as traveling. Fun fact: Amelia is an avid baker! She previously worked at a bakery, and her favorite treat to bake is cupcakes.

Rebecca – Medical Administrative Assistant

Rebecca is originally from Calgary, Alberta. She is passionate about healthcare and has been working in health administration for about three years. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, travelling, painting, and spending time with friends, family, and her dogs.

Melanie – Registered Practical Nurse and Biologics Coordinator

Melanie is a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse and Biologics Coordinator with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western University and Fanshawe College. She brings a wealth of experience from London, where she honed her skills in Mental Health First Aid and earned certifications in IV-line management and phlebotomy from Conestoga College. At DRS Skincare, Melanie collaborates with esteemed specialists, including Dr. Kovacs in Rheumatology, Dr. Shukla in Dermatology, and Dr. Chuback in Plastic Surgery. Her commitment to patient care and biologic treatments underscores her trustworthiness and expertise, making a positive impact on patients’ lives.
