Frequently Asked Questions About Excel V Plus

How does Excel V Plus help improve skin tone and redness?

Excel V Plus uses dual laser wavelengths to precisely target visible blood vessels, redness, and discoloration beneath the skin’s surface. It safely treats common concerns such as rosacea, facial veins, port-wine stains, and sun damage by delivering controlled heat energy that collapses unwanted vessels and encourages new, healthy collagen production. Over time, the skin appears clearer, smoother, and more evenly toned, with minimal discomfort or downtime.

How much does an Excel V Plus treatment cost in Hamilton, Ontario?

The cost depends on the size of the treatment area, the number of sessions needed, and the specific skin concern being addressed. On average, prices range from $300 to $600 per session for smaller areas and may increase for larger or more complex treatments. During your consultation at DRS Skincare in Hamilton, Ontario, our team will create a personalized treatment plan and provide a transparent cost estimate, allowing you to make an informed decision before commencing treatment.

Can I use my insurance to pay for Excel V Plus treatments?

Because Excel V Plus treatments are considered elective cosmetic procedures, they are typically not covered by standard medical or dental insurance. However, DRS Skincare offers flexible payment options and can discuss financing programs that make advanced skin rejuvenation more affordable. During your consultation, our staff will review all available options with you to help you find a payment plan that suits your budget.

How soon will I see visible improvements after an Excel V Plus session?

Many patients notice initial improvements within a few days, particularly in reduced redness and clearer skin tone. For concerns such as spider veins or sun damage, results continue to develop over several weeks as the body naturally absorbs treated vessels and repairs the skin. Depending on your goals, a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart may be recommended to achieve optimal results. Most patients appreciate that there is little to no downtime, allowing them to return to their normal activities immediately.

Who can benefit most from Excel V Plus laser treatments?

Excel V Plus is ideal for individuals seeking a safe, noninvasive solution to reduce redness, vascular lesions, and pigment irregularities. It’s suitable for most skin types and can be used on sensitive areas such as the face, neck, or chest. Whether you’re dealing with rosacea, broken capillaries, or persistent facial flushing, this treatment can help restore a more even and radiant complexion.
